A note from Alain
TURING holds a special place in my heart - it's my top pick as the seasons turn warmer. The innovative double sleeve placket, a feature I meticulously designed, affords the flexibility to easily roll up the sleeves past the elbow. It strikes a remarkable balance of sophistication and casualness. Whether paired with a breezy summer jacket or left unbuttoned for a beach day, its appeal remains unchallenged.- Avoid dry cleaning: it can halve a shirt lifetime.
- Prefer machine wash at 30°C. Go up to 40°C if absolutely necessary. No bleach please. Wash similar colors together.
- Prefer natural drying (on a hanger), avoid tumble dry. This will preserve fibres and ensure your garment lasts longer.
- Medium iron, medium to little steam. Choose cotton program if you have one.

The particular weight makes it non transparent in white, which we know the hairiest amongst yourselves will cherish.

We went for a deep black softened by the linen material, which makes for a very charismatic shirt without being too much.

Cotton voile is the ultimate weapon of choice for summer. This exceptionally lightweight cotton fabric is highly breathable, making it perfect for days at the beach or lounging by the pool.
Crafted from 100% cotton, our 70g/m² fabric offers unparalleled comfort under the summer heat. This navy blue hue, on the darker end of the spectrum, ensures the fabric is not see-through while maintaining its lightweight properties.

Absence has never looked so good
Who needs a collar in summer?
TURING 03 frees the neck, maintaining that cool, elegant vibe.
Dress it up under a jacket or wear it solo – either way, you're effortlessly stylish.

Free the elbow
TURING 03 boasts a double-button sleeve placket, designed for versatility and style. This rare feature lets you roll up the sleeves past the elbow while preserving the elegance of a fully sleeved shirt.
Fold it however many times you would like, the choice is yours.

Our signature cuff
The cuff of the GOSSUIN shirt bears a unique and distinctive hallmark - a scalloped edge that delicately curves around the thumb, allowing for an effortless placement of the cuff on the wrist.
This is the GOSSUIN signature.

A sleeve designed with movement in mind
Experience the innovative design of our sleeves, uniquely positioned in line with your little finger rather than below the wrist. A subtle stop-stitch fortifies the placket at its most vulnerable point - bid farewell to desk carving!
Our sleeves, crafted in two parts, nod to military wear, providing improved drape and movement. Unlike conventional shirts, we meticulously sew our sleeves separately before affixing them, resulting in a slight seam mismatch at the armpit.
But the payoff? Unparalleled comfort, enhanced mobility, and a bespoke, high-end finish.

Back in bias
Back panels are meticulously cut on the bias. They are symmetrically sewn together, forming a striking 'V' shape along the central seam.
This crafty method offers unparalleled elasticity and comfort, plus the freedom to move with ease. All this, without a hint of synthetic fiber, ensuring a 100% natural garment.
This distinctive technique is the hallmark of a GOSSUIN creation, a proud standard we've upheld in every shirt we've created.

A better bottom
Our shirt's hemline is meticulously crafted to project a sleek and stylish silhouette. The understated curve at the back accentuates the straight bottom, while the front boasts an elegant sweep, coalescing into a modern aesthetic.
To uphold this design's longevity, we've reinforced the hem junction with a robust stop-stitch. This method bolsters the hemline's strength, eliminating the need for less visually appealing hem gussets often seen in other shirts.
The outcome? A crisp and refined finish that takes the shirt's overall appeal to the next level.

Locked-up buttons
We've used custom-crafted mother-of-pearl and river shell buttons to add a touch of luxury to the shirt.
Secured with lockstitches and thermo-fusible thread, these buttons are not just stylish, but durably fastened and easy to use - a mark of bespoke tailoring.
Plus, our horizontal last buttonhole on the central placket ensures a neat tuck-in, keeping the shirt in place against the hip

Traceability
We fight for people to own less but better garments.
To guide you on that path, we promise to clearly tell you what we know and what we don't at every step of garment making process.

A cloudless summer
Our journey began with a mission - to reinvent the classic summer shirt, combining comfort, function, and style.
Drawing inspiration from the easy elegance of the kimono and the all-American baseball shirt, we set out to design a garment that was effortlessly cool and elegant. The aim was to craft a shirt that could transition seamlessly from the beach to a summer soirée, a shirt that embodied the ease and spontaneity of the season.
The enigma
TURING 03 carries forward the legacy of its predecessor. The name is a homage to Alan Turing, the brilliant mathematician, logician, and father of modern computing. Much like Alan Turing, our shirt breaks conventions and sets new standards. Turing wasn't afraid to think differently, to question the status quo, and to create something revolutionary.
Similarly, our shirt challenges the traditional notions of summer attire, presenting a modern, innovative design that's both versatile and sophisticated. TURING 03, much like its namesake, is a testament to the power of innovation and the beauty of uniqueness, truly a shirt that stands out from the crowd.
Embrace the summer with TURING 03 – a shirt that redefines comfort and elegance, making every moment effortlessly stylish.
It took many people to bring TURING 03 to the world. This section is dedicated to them.
